The room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed and a bathroom that had plenty of hot water; the air conditioning worked and the ceiling fan was useful. It was close to the beach and there were decent basic food spots in Petnam village. The balcony had two lounge chairs and a handy clothes‑hanging rack. The locals were respectful, but the bed base had hard, sharp edges that caused me to scrape my leg several times.

The location is nice, just a 4‑minute walk from Patnem Beach, which is a calm and beautiful stretch of sand. The room was clean, spacious, and offered a lovely view.

I stayed again at Om Shanti Residence and absolutely love it. The rooms are huge with big beds, superb bathrooms, and large balconies that give a relaxed feel. It’s only a five‑minute walk to the beach.

The hotel is wonderful: the room is great and the location is ideal, only a 5‑7 minute walk to the beach. The room is quiet, the beds are huge with comfortable mattresses and pillows, and the bathroom has good hot‑water pressure. The owner, Nanu, helped resolve several issues and was very supportive. He arranged bike rentals, bringing them in and out of the hotel, organized a trip to Dudhsagar Falls, and handled airport transfers at reasonable prices with punctual, careful drivers. The reception staff worked hard to make the stay comfortable, and I’m very grateful. If you want a peaceful escape away from beach crowds, this hotel is exactly what you need.

Everything was perfect: the property was spotless, ran efficiently, and the reception was staffed at all times. The balcony was spacious and quiet, with a mini fridge, kettle, hot showers, triple sliding doors, air‑conditioning plus a fan, and daily housekeeping on request.
