The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. However, there was an unpleasant odor in the bathroom, some peeling paint, a hole in the bedroom wall that seemed to have toilet paper stuffed into it, and the carpet was heavily marked.

The room offered plenty of space, the bed was very comfortable, and there was a table and chairs outside the patio door. There was ample parking on site, and the Wi‑Fi and TV worked—features that haven’t always been reliable at other places I’ve stayed. The door lock sometimes failed, but that’s just normal wear and tear. I would have liked a hand rail for entering and exiting the bath.

The room was large, well maintained, and the location was decent. The breakfast bag was very generous. The hotel is quite old‑style, which means Wi‑Fi is limited; in our case, a faulty booster left us with no connection.

The huge room with a four‑poster bed was beautiful, the breakfast came in a bag left outside our door each morning, and it was really quiet; the price was good. However, the hotel looked a bit run down, the bathroom was spotless but the room hadn’t been dusted for possibly weeks, and a real breakfast served in the dining room would have been worth paying extra for.

The place is cheap, but the bathroom was dirty, dusty, full of cobwebs, and there was no toilet paper.
