It’s close to the shopping street, cheap, the owner is very nice, and he meets all my requests.

I found the place spotless, but there was only one shower room available.

The guesthouse sits right on Takamatsu’s big shopping arcade, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, and a 7‑11 just a two‑minute walk away; the kitchen and lounge are also great, and the room is comfortable with enough space for a small suitcase, plus I could leave my bag on the day of checkout, which meant I didn’t have to pay for a locker before my evening train. The bathroom does have a small piece of furniture to put things on, but it’s rusty, so I had to lay my stuff on the floor, which isn’t ideal.
