There was a lot of noise and it was uncomfortable, and the receptionist asked me for a 4‑Euro tax.

We had to book this urgently; the staff were pleasant, the bed was clean but very small. The cigarette burns on the surfaces, the sink moved from its place, grime in the sink and on general surfaces. The exterior is very tired and needs a good clean. Only one pillow was supplied because of medical reasons I needed at least two, but when we asked he said only one was given; however he found a cushion for me. I noticed the microwave was dangerously worn in places, white paint on the appliance practically gone in places, looked dirty. The paintwork was shabby around the doors which didn't help the look of the fresh green paint on the wall. The bedside cupboard had unsightly raw edges. On the plus side they made the bed on the second day and provided fresh towels.

I was close to the Messe and the staff were friendly, but the room was extremely small and poorly equipped.

I had no positives at all. Arriving at the parking, I imagined stepping into a squat; the reception was closed at 1 pm with no check‑in desk, and after ten minutes a staff member who could barely string together two French words tried to explain that the hotel was closed on weekends despite my reservation. After calling the owner, he reluctantly agreed to let me stay. It felt like sleeping on stone; in the morning I inspected the mattress and regretted it. Shame that booking lists a place like this.
