The location and interior décor were nice, as was the offered service. I couldn’t use the spa.

The building is a very pretty historic structure. The room was spacious with a fairly comfortable bed, and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Towels and housekeeping were done daily. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The central location lets you visit the village in just a few minutes, and you can park your car in the municipal lot a short walk from the historic center outside the ZTL. The room was bright, offering a panoramic view of the rooftops and valleys. The only drawback was the stairs, but that’s expected in an old building.

The location was fine. The breakfast could have been better, and they mentioned 4 flights of stairs, but it was actually more than 4.

The place was fantastic. Pienza feels like a dream, and our room overlooked the rooftops and the countryside beyond. Be ready for plenty of steps.
