The dorm room was tiny and very crowded. The bathroom was also not clean and the bedsheets weren't either. I didn't feel very comfortable in my dorm room because there were only other men. The price I paid per night was way too high for what you get. I ended up leaving and stayed at another hotel. But they didn't give me my money (which I already paid in advance) back, even though I asked very nicely and never spent a night in the dorm. I cannot recommend this place

I really enjoyed my stay at Guten Tag Kolkata. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the staff were helpful and polite. The common areas were comfortable and a good place to meet and interact with other travellers. The location was also convenient for exploring Kolkata. Overall, I had a very good experience. The stay was comfortable, pleasant, and enjoyable. The friendly atmosphere and helpful staff made my stay even better. I would be happy to stay here again

The hostel is safe for women, and the mood lifts after playing games right after work; everyone is friendly and the staff are extremely helpful. I visit every week and have no desire to switch to another hostel; it’s an amazing place.
