It felt like home! Xisco is the best host in the world. The place is awesome, with living history and so much love and peace in every detail. The air conditioning didn’t work so well, so we melted a bit at night, but we used the pool every time anyway.

The location and surroundings were great, with hot air balloons visible from the room at sunrise. We had breakfast and dinner under a huge tree while the kids played. The peace was wonderful. We’re a family of three young children and they loved it. They swam in the pool at sunset, then went out at night and the water was at the perfect temperature. A couple of very good cats roamed the premises; the kids adored them and let the boys pet them. I’m allergic to cats and there was some cat hair in a few common areas, so I had a bit of an allergy the first day, but from the second day I avoided the spots where the cat liked to hang out and everything was fine.

The owner was great, and the old finca’s unique history and charm were delightful. The interior was very charming and felt like a time‑travel. The owner took the time to explain things, which made the stay even more special. It was great to discover the area by car and off the beaten track.
