I booked this apartment that listed an amazing price of 12 euros. I called the owner to confirm whether I had access to the entire place or just one room, and she replied that it was a mistake—the correct price is 65 euros. Who’s to blame? Not very professional…

The place has a nice interior and is comfortable—a real home away from home. The only complaints are the lack of mosquito nets and that the lighting was a bit dim in the rooms other than the master suite, which had adequate lighting.

It was our first visit to Uganda and we appreciated that the house was spacious enough for all five of us. We’re grateful to Brenda for making our stay in Jinja smooth by helping us get a Ugandan SIM card for easy communication, arranging a reliable driver who dropped us off and picked us up, and guiding us through Jinja. She also suggested places to visit and eat, which we really valued. The house has three balconies, which I loved the most. It was very clean, and the paintings were lovely.
