The beds and shower were fine, but the breakfast lacked cold cuts, butter was exposed, and some facilities were in poor condition. The toilet was loose and the balcony was not cleaned, with many bird feathers.

The location is great, convenient, good value, and the staff are friendly. The aquarium is amazing—picture attached. I prefer rooms with a view, but the basic rooms look out the hallway, so I chose a pricier option.

The air conditioning worked, and the bed was just average. The place felt more like a hostel than a hotel, with a lot of construction workers living there, and several guests kept making noise all night, swearing, shouting, and causing a mess while drinking right outside the hotel. I felt very embarrassed walking around with my family among people without shirts, drunk, on a Sunday morning—definitely not a family-friendly environment. The breakfast was awful; I had to go to a bakery because nothing was edible.

Everything was spotless, the room was impeccably organized, and it was super comfortable. The service was excellent, with everyone being very attentive. I would definitely stay at Salata again if I need to return.
