The price was affordable and it was quiet. It needs updating; it's a 3‑star hotel slipping into a 2‑star.

Everything was great. The hotel is really worth its money. It's quite comfortable, warm, dry and clean, and the location is also very convenient. The restaurant menu isn't very rich and the food is so‑so, to be honest. I was surprised that there wasn’t fish and chips that night, but it doesn’t affect the overall rating.

We liked that the room has both a bath and a shower, and the bath was luxurious. The bed and other furniture and fittings matched the decor well, and the place was very clean and tidy.
