Loris welcomes you like a friend and is always available for anything. The location is picturesque with a breathtaking view of the Mayella. Recommended for those wanting a bit of sea or to explore Mayella’s park. A kitchen, fridge, laundry with washing machine, and drying rack are available for everyone.

“Bello ma c’è tanto da migliorare”

The guys running the place deserve praise and encouragement, but for now the accommodation works for one or two nights. For longer stays, the lack of several comforts becomes apparent. The restored old building offers a valley view from the common area, and Loris’s availability and courtesy justify the stay. However, due to obvious structural limits (the house is carved into rock in Atessa’s historic center), moving around is inconvenient. The room with two single beds and two bathrooms is drafty and lacks ventilation. The double room has a small balcony overlooking the center but no mosquito net and the air conditioning doesn’t work, so the night was tough.

A warm and friendly welcome that immediately put me at ease, and a well‑renovated historic building that overall deserves a good rating. Nothing to complain about.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and the location offered stunning views. The only drawback was the lack of window screens, which made it impossible to keep the windows open all the time, although the air conditioning worked fine.
