I appreciated the concept of a nighttime support near Vienna, the fact that it is PET FRIENDLY, the price, and the facility itself, which has everything essential for staying one night or more; I used it twice in a month and always chose single rooms, and in Vienna you won’t find anything comparable at that price; there are also rooms with multiple beds that cost less. With a few euros you can take the train (there’s also a green bus) directly from the airport to the central train station (MEIDLING), where you change (using the metro) and take the S50 train from WESTBAHNHOF that in fifteen minutes brings you to the WEIDLINGAU stop, get off with the elevator and cross the small bridge. The facility faces this beautiful river, has comfortable terraces or balconies, so that side is very quiet, while the other side faces the road and is noisier, of course. There is also a bus stop in front of the location if you don’t want to use the train (which I think is more convenient). I would have liked someone to explain how to get to this location, but I found no explanation! The fact that I never found a shower-dryer is not a problem, I had read the reviews and brought my own supplies.

The location matched the description and was quite convenient to reach the city centre; nearby within walking distance are shops, cafés, and shopping centres, but the bedroom windows faced the centre and the road, and it was a bit noisy in the morning, yet everything else fully compensated for this small inconvenience.

It’s inexpensive compared to most Vienna hotels or apartments, so it could be a money‑saving choice. However, the hall, shower, and toilet were dirty, the trash bin was full and stank, and after contacting the hostel nothing was done. The walls were grimy and there was no toilet paper in the toilet.

I can’t fault the price‑value ratio; it’s solid. The bed was a touch uncomfortable and it got swelteringly hot in summer, but the location and cost are genuinely great. Parking on the street was a breeze, so finding a spot was no issue. That’s something I find especially important in Vienna.
