“Great location & pleasant comfortable stay.”
We really liked our brief stay there, and had no complaints.

The Rose Revived by Chef & Brewer Collection, in Witney's Oxfordshire countryside, is a 16th-century inn with original character. The hotel features large, individually decorated rooms, a restaurant, and a picturesque riverside garden. Guests enjoy free parking, a range of drinks in the bar, and views of the River Thames. The location, food and beer were great, yet the room needed a makeover and the toilet and shower required repairs.

The location is good, but the river view is blocked by willows.

The historic building sits in a stunning spot beside the Thames, with outdoor seating and food by the river and ancient bridge, a lovely riverside walk, and plenty of parking. Check‑in was straightforward, and the room I chose was spacious, comfortable, and offered a double‑aspect view. Although a road is nearby, traffic is almost nonexistent after 11 pm, so there’s no noise. However, reaching the rooms after the bar closes means going around the back of the property and using the fire escape. Ordering at the bar was slower than expected, and the staff seemed to handle orders from a screen; a brief “I’ll be right with you” would have been appreciated.
