Everything matched the description and photos: the room was clean and bright (lit by a skylight), not too large but ample for two, the kitchen was fully equipped, the beach is a 30‑minute walk through a pretty forest trail, and the local market is a 10‑minute drive; there’s a small shop on site. I recommend it as a base for cycling.

I loved the terrace window and the chance to eat breakfast surrounded by birdsong in the garden, a beautiful garden and a new playground.

The location is excellent, the staff is excellent, the garden is gorgeous. My little dog got along with the owners’ dog and they both ran around the huge garden. The walk to the beach through the forest takes 15 minutes and the path is very spacious. Also the bike trail to the neighboring beach is great, all through the forest. I highly recommend it. It felt like my stay passed by too quickly.

The grounds were super beautiful and the kids could play; it was very calm. Communication was great; we had a small water issue that was fixed quickly. I would come again, it was wonderful. Unfortunately there was no toaster, but that’s not a big deal, and there were ants, but I don’t consider that a major complaint :) A fly screen in front of the balcony door would be nice :)
