Service was really good. The rooms were pleasant with a lovely view. Just a note: the hotel is 3‑4 km from the town, not the 700 m mentioned. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room.

We were delighted by the quiet setting and the magnificent view of the Treene. The day started with a varied, tasty breakfast. We always had good conversations with the owner. No complaints.

We stayed two nights at Pension Treenehof, located outside Friedrichstadt, about 3.5–4.5 km away—a distance we already knew and accepted. From there we took trips to Husum and St. Peter‑Ording. The breakfast buffet was varied and very good.
