It was right next to Registan Square. I had booked two rooms but only one was prepared. The TV and toilet paper that were listed in the amenities were missing. There was no trash bin in the room. The bathroom had no sink for washing hands or face, so after using the toilet I had to wash my hands in the shower. There was no shower curtain, so the toilet got wet every time the shower was used. The slippers for the bathroom were torn.

The location was unbeatable – being so close to Registan Square let us see its different faces from morning to night. When I lost my phone, the taxi driver helped me get in touch and even arranged an early‑morning cab, which was incredibly kind. It would have been nicer to have a trash bag available.
