Hotel Ermitage blends 1950s retro charm with a prime Saint‑Tropez location, just a 3‑minute walk from the Marina and 350 m from Place des Lices. Air‑conditioned rooms feature vintage décor, carpeted floors, private baths and optional sea views, but no televisions.

The terrace and outdoor area are gorgeous, one of the best spots for an aperitif. The overall comfort, room layout, and soundproofing were lacking. I was more bothered by street noise than by the ground‑floor establishment at night, for which I had been fully warned and which caused me no trouble. Better‑insulated windows might fix the issue, I think.

The reception staff were attentive. The vibe was different. The room and the fact that they put me in a higher‑priced one were negative.
