“A good value for money choice at a most central location”

The hotel sits right on Berlin’s famous shopping street, Ku’damm, with metro, tram, and bus stops just steps away; the staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Across the entrance is a lovely Greek café with many treats, and a Dean&David eatery offers good options. A large, inexpensive supermarket called FIT is around the corner. At times, a strong sewage odor drifted from the bathroom or sink.

Everything is as good as always, but the breakfast selection feels a bit reduced—walnuts are gone, only smoked salmon remains, and the service feels a bit mass‑produced.

The location is 1A—right on Ku’damm and easily reachable by public transport, yet the rooms remain quiet. A receptionist caught my eye for her genuine friendliness; with others I felt like a nuisance. Moreover, the hotel had a security flaw: my room key could open the neighboring room (I discovered this by accident and informed staff, who promptly reprogrammed the system). That’s an absolute no‑no. It’s a shame there’s no hotel bar.
