The place is in a great spot, close to many restaurants and hangouts, just a 5 to 10 minute walk from Zhongshan station and a bus stop right below. The staff were friendly and they offer free laundry service. It’s a solid area for a first visit to Taipei, so I’d definitely recommend it. The breakfast lacked some vegetarian options, and the rooms could use a bit more space.

The location is convenient for all kinds of transport, and there are convenience stores and cafés nearby. Free use of a washing machine is available, and you can choose the wash mode, so most of my clothes were ready when I left. The breakfast could have offered a wider selection of local dishes; I wondered if locals don’t eat noodles in the morning.
