The location is great, just outside the metro station, and a short walk to the limousine bus to the airport. The room is small but fine for one person. Breakfast was a bit ordinary—okay if you like noodles. I didn’t bother after the first morning; a Paris Baguette was very close by.

The price was cheap and, even though breakfast was simple, it was surprisingly decent. Over my two nights the bed was made and the sheets were changed, and although the staff dressed casually, they responded promptly to every request and were very friendly. The building is a bit dated and I did see a few insects here and there.

I liked the place but also had some complaints.

The staff were helpful and even spoke Japanese, which I really appreciated. I got good value from the WowPass machine, the breakfast service and the drinks throughout my stay. The only problem was that the toilet paper wouldn’t flush.

The location was good, but the shower made the floor completely wet, which was dangerous.
