The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the old town, and everyone from the owner to the staff was friendly; the owner, who had lived in Japan for about seven years, spoke Japanese, which was very convenient. They also drove us to Samarkand airport in a private car, for which I’m very grateful.

I strongly recommend staying here when in Samarkand. The owners’ hospitality is top‑level and rarely seen elsewhere. Tea on the terrace was served daily after returning to the hotel, and the homemade cakes were delicious. At the end of the stay, we were offered a free pick‑up to the train station. Everything was at the highest level.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, even offering homemade cake. The breakfast was fantastic, and the central location with a nice rooftop terrace was a bonus. The beds were very hard, and a kettle in the room would have been nice, though tea was always offered.

The staff were very friendly, informative and helpful, and the breakfast was good; they supplied water and the location was great. The hotel is family‑oriented and offers multilingual service in Japanese and Russian, plus comfortable beds. However, some rooms felt very cosy and the curtains let light bleed through, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers.
