John was fantastic, and his thoughtful provision of woolly hats in a drawer—just in case it got cold in October—was brilliant. We noted how exceptional the mattress was, and the bedding was cozy with an electric blanket. Staying in a tent was a real joy. I felt the general areas could use better organization; we didn’t use the outdoor shower, but in summer a proper cubicle shower would be novel.

I was excited to find a budget‑friendly spot in Glastonbury, usually staying in hostels, and I jumped at the chance to book The Bee Hive tents when I saw them. They’re close to the town centre and a short walk away. Unfortunately the weather turned and it rained, but I had an umbrella to get to the house facilities.

The location is great, everything’s within a 10‑20 minute walk, and John was always attentive and friendly with all my questions. The kitchen utensils weren’t very clean, so I had to deal with a repair day on the spot, which was a bit of a mess.
