The tub was huge, spacious and modern, with a beautiful glass balcony offering a stunning view of Bolsena lake. The room also featured a large soaking tub, something you don’t often find in hotels, which was a big plus. The hotel had a pool, but I couldn’t tell if it was heated – during the hot summer it was nice to cool off there. The pool was pleasant to relax in and offered views of the mountains. The only downside was that when the soaking tub was left on the top of the shower, water also sprayed onto the floor.

“Bella camera ma pessima gestione”

The room was very beautiful and welcoming, just like the pool. There was ample parking and a gorgeous view of the lake. The staff were completely incompetent, the restaurant service was terrible, slow and the food tasteless. The registration of documents took hours when a simple photo would have sufficed, as 90 % of facilities do now. I’m sorry, but I would not return.

The area around the hotel is very nice, right on the lake with a lovely promenade that invites walking and free bathing everywhere. The hotel is run in a family style, the owners are very friendly and try hard to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The attached restaurant offers very good cuisine with large portions at a moderate price. The beds are just right, neither too soft nor too hard. Every day fresh hand and bath towels and a new shower curtain are provided. The pool is filled with lake water, and the bathing area is very spacious. The hotel is a bit old‑fashioned, and several details should be updated.

The park inside the complex is shaded, the pool has loungers, and it’s close to the lake with seating right by the water. Breakfast offers a lake view, and the restaurant is open…
