Because the hotel was being updated, the reception area only had two tables, and the gentleman checking us in just held up a finger and said “I’m on the phone” instead of a smile; our room showed its age with a very lumpy and uncomfortable bed, a shower that needed caulking, zero outlets for charging phones, and a sporadic light flashing throughout the night that ruined sleep; to top it all, this dog‑friendly hotel offered no place to walk my service animal—definitely off the list, no quality at this price.
