The cooked breakfast was excellent and substantial, but I’d have liked fruit options beyond the cereal and yoghurt, not just watermelon. The rooms lack soundproofing—noisy guests on Saturday night were disruptive.

We stopped there on our Mizen to Malin cycle and it was a very welcome break; the rooms were nice, the lounges comfortable, and the staff friendly, though it felt a bit too cozy. I would have liked to stay longer. A late evening arrival meant no food was available, so we had to take a short ride into town for a bite.
