The room was tidy and had a distinct character, and breakfast was pleasant. The bed and pillows felt firm, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The old hotel was comfortable and close to the spots we wanted to see. It’s dog friendly, so we brought our two dogs; they joined us for dinner and even mingled in the breakfast room. Nothing was missing; we’d stayed here twice before, making this our third visit.
