The breakfast was good and the location quiet in this pretty village, but the room felt cheerless and the radiator—on only in the morning, off at night—was tucked behind shelving with the kettle, which was not ideal. I was disappointed there was no TV.

Rooms and staff were fantastic, the bed super comfortable, and the whole hotel very clean; food was also very very good and offered superb value for money.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Location in a lovely quiet village. Excellent access to city centre by bus (20 mins.). The pub was a little sad looking although pleasant original pub theme it could do with some TLC
