“Great location, but very poor communication with the host”

The apartment sits in a prime spot with stunning volcano views and sunsets. Parking is handy, and there are plenty of outdoor tables and sofas—great for breakfast or a sunset drink. It’s spacious, well‑maintained, and overall comfortable. However, we had no running water for over 24 hours, including no water to flush the toilet, which was a major hassle for the three of us. We tried contacting the host multiple times, but he never responded. A neighbor eventually helped, but we expected far more help from the host in such a tough situation. The same communication failure happened at check‑out, where the host was again unreachable. Ironically, when he needed our personal details, he was extremely persistent, calling us repeatedly. Overall, host communication was terrible. Wi‑Fi was weak and only worked in certain parts of the apartment, with no reliable signal in the bedrooms. There was also a constant, unpleasant sewage smell in the bathroom.

“Casa grande in posizione strategica”

The house is large with two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, coffee maker, dishes), plus a washing machine and beach towels. The outdoor area is set up for dining outside. The location is strategic for island tours, especially the southern area. The pool is small with loungers and a rocking sofa. Self‑check‑in was great. However, there were cockroaches inside the property (and even in the neighbor’s unit). The pool is smaller than it looks in the photos, and the filtration system turns on late, so it wasn’t clean in the afternoon.

“Agradable”

The arrival was comfortable, the location was good, and there were plenty of loungers and chairs outside to enjoy the evening breeze. The house is spacious and comes with a well‑equipped kitchen. Occasionally the internet connection was a bit weak, and we also missed a fan; the pillows were a bit uncomfortable for our taste.

“Casita acogedora”

The place felt like a family home, with the staff being very friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something. The location was great, letting us move around the island without any trouble. The only downside was that there were very few trash bags and not enough toilet paper.
