The property’s location and itself were amazing, with lovely grounds and very attentive staff from reception to restaurant; the daily activities were a nice option. We stayed in a villa with spacious rooms and the room was very clean. The villa was close to town, so we could walk to shops in the evening and back. However, the rooms themselves feel a bit bare; they could use nice artwork and better lighting to feel cozier. The additional bed we asked for our daughter was a hardwood plank base, so it was uncomfortable even with a thicker mattress on top. Breakfast could use more items, especially for a five‑star hotel; there were no appams, a Kerala dish, during breakfast. The property is beautiful, but it lacks a spacious lounge area to relax outdoors unless you sit in the restaurant.

The breakfast was tasty, and I wish there were more dishes and specialty coffee. The hotel’s location is amazing in the city center, close to tourist spots, and I thank all staff, especially Shera Jay—though I hope I spelled her name correctly. It was a wonderful stay. The only issue was that there is no hot water in the rooms.
