The hotel sits right in the heart of the city. The only drawback was that the cleaning was outstanding—actually, it was perfect.

The place is in a touristy spot, so you get good access. But the neighborhood turns into a drug scene at night and the hotel feels more like a motel than a family place. I even saw a client arrive with a hired escort. It's not a safe or welcoming environment after dark.

The location is solid, right in the middle of everything. The only downside is the steep stairs—no elevator, so it's a hassle if you have luggage.

The room was comfy and cheap, which is a win. But being smack in the middle of the city means you're right next to bars and some shady places, and you can spot a few people on the street.
