Overall, we really liked the colourful house‑shack we stayed in; it mixed our story with flawless comfort. The food was amazing—we tried a lot of dishes and all were superb! But there are a few things you need to know because that info is hidden. 1. The pool is advertised as a perk, yet it’s still pay‑per‑use (currently 400 UAH per person). Even though you’re booked for a day, you’ll have to pay the new rate in the morning if you just want to lie on a lounger instead of swimming. 2. The grounds are nice and tidy, but extremely small—there’s no real walking space. The whole area is taken up by cottages, parking, pavilions, a restaurant, a playground, and the pool zone (which, as it turns out, is also paid). 3. The discount doesn’t apply, even though many places offer it; this hotel just doesn’t. 4. Bring cash! Their terminal somehow doesn’t work, and everything is settled in cash. 5. Breakfast isn’t included in the stay. 6. Tea is listed as not included, but you’ll still be charged 10 % of the bill. 7. The decor is unsettling—there’s a moose head on the wall, which is sad, creepy, and close to the bed you’re sleeping on. Keep all these points in mind. Bottom line: if you want good food and a taste of Ukrainian character, this place is fine. But paying for a stay on such a small area with no pool, no breakfast, and only cash is a lot of money; you can find better options in the area for the same price.
