The room was small yet tidy, and breakfast was decent but missing vegetables. The motel itself was old but had a stylish vibe. Getting there on foot isn’t easy, and the breakfast still lacked veggies.

The food was fine, even the senior’s order of fries tasted great. The pillow in the room was too big and uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else was clean, tidy, and pleasant for a good night’s sleep. The staff were wonderful, though some didn’t speak English well, which was a shame. The mattress was very soft, leaving me with a bit of back pain after waking. Aside from that, the hotel was great, met all our needs, and this was our second stay. We’ll definitely come back when we return to Berlin.

The hotel caters to long‑haul drivers and feels a bit worn, but it has its own charm. It’s conveniently located for transit passengers and visitors to the exhibition complex, which is just a 3‑minute walk across the road via a tunnel under the highway. Breakfast is hearty, and there’s an EV charger available. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and fully functional, though there is a noticeable smell of age.
