The reception was friendly and I chatted with the owner, but breakfast was a bit sparse and could have been more extensive.

The garden was splendid, and the room was very well designed.

The owner was very friendly and attentive, and the hotel was completely empty so we were the only guests. The room was spacious and spotless, though the bathroom layout was a bit odd with the toilet in the middle of the room, separated by a partition but still open to the ceiling. Everything else was clean, and the breakfast, though French, was perfectly adequate. Unfortunately, the outdoor areas looked very unkempt; the animals kept there appeared thin and poorly cared for, which was a shame given the beautiful grounds. The pool was unusable because it was covered, and everything around it also looked run-down.
