The house itself was well equipped, though it lacked shower gel, which would have been handy for guests arriving by air; we bought our own and left the rest for future guests. The visible areas of the apartment were clean, and the Wi‑Fi worked well throughout our stay. The property was spacious, giving our group plenty of room to relax comfortably. The outdoor views were absolutely stunning, especially from the swimming pool, which was a real highlight. The air conditioning was very effective and much appreciated, especially with temperatures over 30 °C. Walking and hiking trails were just a few steps from the house, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts. The host respected our privacy and gave us plenty of space during our stay.
A car was essential for staying here; the nearest shops were a 10–15 minute drive away, and there was no public transport within walking distance. Most beaches were about 50 minutes to an hour away by car. Although the visible areas of the house were clean, there was dust behind the drawers, under the beds, and cobwebs beneath the radiator. We also saw a few small cockroaches in both the kitchen and the bathroom during our stay. The property only had one air‑conditioning unit, in the living room; when temperatures exceeded 30 °C, the rest of the house became very warm, especially the bedrooms, making it hard to sleep comfortably. The fans helped a little but were quite noisy. The biggest disappointment was the pre‑arrival communication: a week before, I told the host we expected to arrive between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm, and they promised to send self‑check‑in instructions via WhatsApp, which I gave. We never received them. My flight was delayed, and after landing in Barcelona I sent another message to let them know we were on our way and politely asked for the instructions, but got no response. By the time we reached the property it was almost midnight. After a long day of travelling and driving in the dark, we were exhausted and couldn’t access the accommodation because we still had no entry instructions. I tried calling several times, only reaching voicemail and leaving multiple messages. We almost had to spend the night in our car. Eventually we noticed lights on in a separate building opposite the villa; we knocked several times before a woman answered through the window. I explained we were tourists trying to find the apartment.
