Palais De Mahe - A CGH Earth Experience

“Beautiful property”

Good location, amazing breakfast, courteous and helpful staff, spacious rooms, nice pool, peaceful vibe—especially thanks to Adrian for all the info and maps. The renovation caused some noise, and the pricing feels a bit high compared to the overall package.

“Superb Hotel in a perfect location in the French Quarter of Pondicherry”

This hotel was perfect for our four‑night stay in Pondicherry. It sits right in the centre of the French Quarter, within walking distance of good restaurants, the promenade, and the beach. The hotel is gorgeous with old‑world charm. Our room was spacious with a private terrace overlooking a sizable pool. Breakfast varied daily so we never got bored. Every staff member was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable, giving excellent restaurant recommendations and handling all transportation and spa bookings. The Ayurvedic spa is definitely worth a visit—competitively priced with highly professional, well‑trained staff.

“Loved it!”

Great breakfast—you could order whatever you liked. Kind and efficient staff, lovely atmosphere. More wine choices would be nice, but I think that will change over time.

I was blown away by the delicious à la carte breakfast, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, though we stayed in a "Palais Chambre Deluxe." The retro vibe of the hotel won me over, even though the building is only 13 years old.

“Overall excellent experience. Woud highly recommend.”

The staff were very friendly, the place was clean and tidy, and the facilities were excellent. Everything nearby was within easy reach, and the beachfront was close to the property.
