I really liked this guesthouse; it’s on the second floor of the host’s house, a large single suite where I could cook for myself. Next to the guesthouse runs a small river, and I spent a lot of wonderful time by it, especially watching the sunrise over the river, which was beautiful.

We were heading to a wedding in Rankin and the hotel’s location was spot on—just a short drive from Barry’s Bay. Being from New Hamburg, we appreciated how quiet the neighbors were. The place was a solid choice for a short stay.

The spot was ideal—just a 12‑minute drive to our family cottage in Eganville and everything we needed right there. The king bed was so comfortable we slept like babies, and waking up to a cool breeze with a view of the farm was a treat. We’d love to spend more time hiking, kayaking, and hitting the beach, but we’ll definitely come back.
