The meals were the best I've ever had—carefully crafted Alpine cuisine with fresh ingredients and perfect balance. The staff’s hospitality was top‑notch; they helped us repeatedly, even though we didn’t know their names. Their kindness felt like the highest class. Though the place feels far away, it feels like a neighboring county. Thanks for connecting us with such a wonderful lodge.

The gym was the best I've seen, the spa was solid, dinner was tasty, and the rooms were spacious and comfy. On the downside, there’s no smart TV or Netflix casting, and if you’re not German‑speaking you’re stuck with just a few channels. The decor was decent but not standout—many hotels in this price range look better. It’s not a “don’t go” place, just a bit under‑delivered for the money.

The hotel’s location and staff were outstanding. I flew into Salzburg and caught a direct bus to Ritzen, then a short hop to the hotel—just a 10‑15 minute walk. The team was incredibly helpful upon arrival. Having a natural lake to swim in, plus an indoor pool if the weather turned, was perfect. I highly recommend the spa massage and the breakfast, which was filling and tasty. The only minor gripe: a room coffee machine and a fan would have been nice for hot days, but it didn’t spoil the stay.
