“Logement atypique”

I liked it a lot, my husband a little less, the accommodation is atypical, quiet, on the canal, 500 m from a grocery store, with a bike parking spot. The bathroom and toilets are cramped, (dry toilets are fine), but they’re narrow and not closed!

“Très mauvaise expérience”

The boat was well‑located and the host was on time and friendly. However, cleanliness was questionable with black streaks on the tiles, sticky furniture, a dirty fridge, a leaking shower head, a bottle that seemed to contain water as a “shower product”, and the presence of dry toilets that weren’t advertised. The bed was too small for my 1.60m height. The only equipment was a half‑filled water bottle; no bath towel, tea or coffee was supplied in the morning. The place felt very rustic, too hot or too cold depending on the outside temperature, and the locks seemed easy to pick. I almost stayed at a hotel the second night because I slept badly.

“Une belle parenthèse sur l’eau”

The setting was truly idyllic and very pleasant. The barge was fairly spacious, with a comfortable bed and very enjoyable seating. The place has a particular charm and offers a lovely experience. A few things could be improved, especially the timing arrangement. We also ran into a plumbing issue (which was quickly resolved) and the bed net wasn’t really suitable.

“A fabulous stay by the towpath of the famous Canal du Midi.”

A very friendly and helpful host. Secure lock‑up for my touring bike. The deck terrace offered excellent views down the canal and toward the opposite bank. Comfortable accommodation.
