We’ve stayed here a few times, but it was a shame we couldn’t have breakfast with my brother and his wife because of the room situation. We still like it, as I mentioned, we’ve stayed a few times.

The location is ideal, right between Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere, and it offers great value for a one‑night stay. The breakfast selection is lovely. We recommend this place and would stay again.

Great location. Breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. The server was lovely. The B&B itself is cosy and quaint. The only downside was a faulty extension plugged into another extension that caused damage to a phone when charging.

The house is especially beautiful, dating back to the Victorian era. Our room was large, with a canopy bed and a sitting area in the bay window that gave a nice view. Breakfast was served in the morning in the room and was very good!! The driveway to the parking behind the house is very steep.
