Parking on site costs 10 euros a day, the hotel is a 25‑minute walk from the city centre, and the seaside area is pretty but perched on cliffs with no nearby beach. Breakfast is included. The pool is nice but was closed when we visited. Our room faced a courtyard corner, offering no outside view; the rooms aren’t sound‑proof, so we could hear neighbours chatting clearly. The staff are not really smiling at tourists unless you’re Italian. Check‑in took 2 minutes, the person seemed rushed; we saw her again several times afterward but she didn’t even look at us. Greeting is optional—sad, the site is very pretty.

Good value for money, the area is quiet and fairly close to Sorrento’s centre. The staff are very pleasant, and a 2‑minute walk leads to a viewpoint with a stunning sunset. The room and bathroom are old and you can hear other rooms’ noises. The sweet breakfast is very complete, though the salad is a bit thin. They only offer cow’s milk.

“Bon séjour à Sorrento”

We liked the location: an old monastery turned hotel, close to Sorrento (20 minutes on foot), with a view of the Sorrento Bay. The train station to Naples is nearby. The neighbourhood is very good and quiet, surrounded by 5‑star hotels. You can rent a Vespa to explore the Amalfi Coast. The hotel is family‑run, the family is friendly and helpful. There’s a small beach 3 minutes on foot. The rooms are small (old monastery), but the price is reasonable for the area.
