I loved the tasteful décor, the bathroom facilities were great, and we enjoyed a spacious family area with two adjoining rooms; the café was also very good, and breakfast each morning was delicious—more western style than Sri Lankan. The hotel sits in the leafy embassy area of Colombo, which made it quiet and allowed me to stroll through the neighborhood, but it lacks the bustling city vibe; tuktuks are cheap, so getting around is easy.

The rooms were very pleasant, the staff were attentive, and the café on the street level was nice.

The hotel was beautifully tucked away from Colombo’s main, busy areas; everything was comfortable and I felt very safe and secure as a solo female traveller.
