“For one night okay”

The staff were very nice and the place sits close to the beach and many restaurants that are walkable during the day, but the streets get extremely dark at night and you can’t walk on the beach. The room is spacious, yet it’s unclear that all facilities depend on power outages; the description only mentioned Wi‑Fi might be down, but the whole electricity—light, fan, air conditioning, hot water—went out because there’s no generator. We booked a “sea view” and there’s no view of the beach or sea from the room, so better curtains for privacy would help.

“Would definitely recommend this place.”

The location was perfect, right beside the Rock Restaurant with great beach access, though Google Maps points to the wrong spot and my taxi driver struggled to find it—maybe the owner could update that. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The shower only dribbles water, which seems normal in Zanzibar, but I’m not sure if that’s the property’s fault.

Our stay was very pleasant. The apartment was spotless, organized, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially want to highlight the host, Elisa’s kindness and understanding. Communicating with her was always easy, quick, and smooth. During our stay we had a family emergency in Spain and had to leave early; Elisa fully understood and made the payment process very easy, showing great empathy and flexibility. We’re very grateful for her support and would definitely recommend staying here if you’re heading to Pingwe. Both the apartment and the host’s service were excellent and we felt very comfortable.

“Belle endroit mais problème d’électricité”

There were several power outages lasting up to 5 hours, which severely disrupted comfort and vacation plans. The electricity and water were also poor.
