The place is well‑located, but the whole building feels too cold, and because of a heat pump there's no way to raise the temperature.

“Mooi huisje langs het water”

The park is spacious and the cabins are spread out, giving plenty of privacy. On nice days it’s a great spot for fishing, boating, or swimming across the road in the IJsselmeer. The pool is fine. The cabin itself wasn’t completely clean, and the bathroom and toilet looked outdated.

The location on a canal, the dock, and the proximity to the IJsselmeer are exceptional, and the entire house and garden are fully fenced, so you can let your dog run freely outside the park.

“Erholsam, einfach schön.....gerne wieder”

The view of the dock and water is lovely, the grounds are tidy, quiet, and create a nice atmosphere. Daily walks with the dog around the property and along the water on the opposite side of the street were varied. Because we had our dog with us, a fence around the property, like in some other houses in the complex, would have been nice, but we managed to improvise.

“Der Aufenthalt in Europarcs IJsselmeer hat uns gefallen.”

The house itself is very nice (though the staircase takes some getting used to) and the location is great. The outdoor area looks untidy. Medemblik is within walking distance and quickly reachable, and the restaurants are very good. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired: the dishwasher cleans poorly, which probably explains the many dirty dishes in the cabinets. We stopped using it and washed by hand instead. The sheets were sometimes torn, and one set had several spot stains.
