The hotel sits in the city centre, which is great. The air‑conditioning didn’t work, the room was small, and there were no glasses in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at hotel Emka; the room was very nice and the air‑con worked very well. Having a quality restaurant downstairs was a bonus too, and it was peaceful and away from the heat and bustle of the city. Nothing negative.

“Muy lejos de ser un hotel de 4 estrellas”

Two positives: free parking in front of the hotel and the building had an elevator. The hotel does not match a 4‑star rating; in Spain it would be closer to a 2‑star. The mattress was comfortable, but the sheets didn’t fit the mattress and the mattress protruded from the base, making you drift to one side while sleeping. The air‑con was very old, barely cooled, made a dripping noise all night, and the remote didn’t work well. The bathroom was very dark and the fan was very loud. The room had an old, stained carpet. We also found a used shampoo bottle on the shower floor. At night the hotel entrance was very dark and reception was on the second floor. Overall, the experience did not live up to a 4‑star hotel.

The hotel sits right on the main road, making it easy to spot. The staff were extremely friendly and service‑oriented, yet the floor mat in my room covered the entire floor and looked unclean.
