The staff were incredible and the number one reason we loved this Ryokan. The front desk, the wait staff, and the amazing food created by the Chef with team. Everyone in the team were so nice to us. In particular, Neron, who originated from Nepal, was so kind and helped translating everything into English. We had breakfast and dinner provided and wow, muliti course and it was delicious. The room was lovely. The guests only Onsens were great too - 2 privately bookable and 2 for guests to share. Not really a problem but we didn't realise our room wasn't serviced daily. We could get fresh supplies by leaving them just inside the door. I think it was to ensure our privacy. I found the bed a bit hard but a morning Onsen session cured any aches

Die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Japan-Reise! Die Zimmer sind sehr schön hergerichtet und der Service ausgezeichnet! Auch das Essen in der Unterkunft ist ausgezeichnet und war ein schönes Erlebnis! Eine private Onsen-Zeit in der Unterkunft konnte man problemlos buchen

Tsubakino is a charming ryokan. We loved its traditional decor and calming energy. The staff is very informative, ensuring we had a relaxing stay for our first time in Kinosaki. We loved everything. Nothing not to complain
