The location is quite decent, the owners are nice, and the kitchen has fairly clean and new equipment. From the window you can see the main street, the mountains, a neighboring farm, and trains (the closed windows don’t bother). Walking to the city center takes 15–20 minutes. It’s quiet at night (yay). In the city center there are many street dogs fighting over territory, but here the street is calm. Be aware of very squeaky doors and floors if you have a sensitive sleep or are staying with a small child. Lighting is only overhead, the switch is on the other side of the room, so reading before bed can be inconvenient. I’m not familiar with water supply in Vorohta, but the shower water had a strong hydrogen sulfide smell; if that matters to you, now you know. There wasn’t enough trash can space in the room, so you had to walk with every napkin, candy wrapper, or mask package to the toilet and its mini‑vending machine or to another floor for the shared kitchen.
