The accommodation was good and spacious, the air conditioning was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly, but the breakfast was simple and the location was a bit far from the city center and the port, making it hard to walk with luggage.

The hostel was a great place for a few days, with friendly staff and a nice pool. However, the shared showers needed maintenance; many were missing a shower knob and, although clean, clearly required replacement. The rooms were noisy.

I would rate it 10/10 and would stay even longer if I could. The hostel offers small, nice rooms and, while not very social, it sits in a great location. What truly set it apart were the staff: they were friendly throughout my stay, and when I forgot my entire bag of electronic devices, they went from Gili Air to Bangsal just to drop it at the expedition company’s office, which then sent it to me on the next boat. Big shoutout to Den for taking such good care of me, responding immediately, and coordinating with the company so I didn’t have to do anything. Highly recommend.

“Schön”

The atmosphere was mega relaxed, with three beds in a dorm that felt comfortable and everything else you’d need. The employees were very nice and cool, and extra points for the volleyball field. I would definitely come back. The toilets were always flooded and smelled very unpleasant; even the Jasmin Rauf spray didn’t help, but eventually you get used to it.
