“Would never go there again !”

There’s not much to like about this place – it felt like a prison cell. The office never opened, yet we managed to get in before the booking time, which was a blessing since it was 40 °C and the long walk with suitcases from the wharf was hardly fun, all uphill. Everything else was terrible: the nearest beach is small and dirty; the only beach worth considering is a 25 min walk, but it’s busy, overcrowded, and overrated unless you rent a scooter or bike. The whole island experience was awful.

The shared kitchen is well organized and clean. They let us in far earlier than the normal check‑in time. The downside is that the street noise and other guests’ sounds are quite noticeable, and some of them are obviously rude.

The building is brand‑new, in a convenient spot with plenty of street space for scooters or bikes. It's 300 m from the city center, 100 m from the harbor beach with crystal‑clear water, and on the route around the island. The view shows Santa Caterina Castle. The reception girls were genuinely friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable.
