Hotel Cafe Fuggerhof, located in Oberstdorf, features a sunny, quiet, and central restaurant with no through traffic at the village's southern end. The pedestrian zone is a short walk away, and cross-country ski-tracks and skiing slopes are accessible directly from the hotel. Guests enjoy a breathtaking view of meadows and Allgäu mountain scenery, with Memmingen Airport 80 km away.

The breakfast was very varied and beautifully presented, the breakfast room had a fantastic view, and the staff were perfect. Unfortunately, there was no catering outside of breakfast, and the self‑service setup didn’t feel the same.

A fantastic hotel right on the hiking trails, very quiet, and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

The location at the edge of town is ideal, especially if you want to visit Viehscheid – it’s a 30 min walk over the fields. Parking at the house is sufficient and easily reachable. The room was spacious, though a bit outdated, but it had modern furniture and a good bathroom. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The price, however, was extremely high for two nights despite everything; it was probably because of the weekend in Viehscheid, but for the quality of the accommodation it was over‑the‑top. Staff were absent except during breakfast, and the keys were simply left with a welcome letter at the reception desk. The building is very old with built‑in, winding staircases. The café is currently closed, only open for breakfast.

The location on the shore was very quiet, the breakfast lush, the view of the mountains superb, the staff extremely friendly, and the check‑in hassle‑free.
