“TERRIBILE”

Comfortable a few steps from the sea. Something never seen before: at first they gave me a dirty room, the second room had no toilet paper or soap, I point it out… they say “we can’t give it until tomorrow morning, is that okay?” I reply “I wash myself, understand?” I give them some of my own soap, they take a supermarket body wash, pour it into a plastic cup. Then the terrace door (shared with other rooms) wouldn’t close, so anyone could enter my room while I was out, and there were long hairs on the towels that weren’t mine. I went to ask for the invoice, the guy answers: “why do you want the invoice? you already have the Booking receipt…” The staff is always out smoking and chatting.

“Ezt a szállást nem nem választanánk újra.”

Breakfast was basically fine, but there was no vegetable – like tomato or cucumber – at all during our whole stay. The coffee machine didn’t work properly, and we almost constantly had to ask the staff for help. In the dining room the tables were arranged haphazardly, which gave a pretty chaotic impression. In the room we had problems with the air‑conditioning: it only worked when the reception turned it on, and the wall control panel didn’t work. These alone may not seem like big things, but overall we left not in a good mood, and based on our experience we will not choose this accommodation again. Fortunately, the sea, the rest, and the relaxation still re‑charged us. What was particularly unpleasant was the tourist tax. Compared to the amount shown on Booking, we had to pay about double on site, and only cash was accepted – no card payment was possible. That was quite uncomfortable and mistrustful. In short, we don’t say everything was bad, but these small inconveniences together significantly ruined the overall impression. The area and the vacation were still very pleasant, but we would not choose the accommodation again because of the above.

“Pessimo”

We arrived to find rooms that were completely different from the pictures: outdated furniture, broken outlets, a window where a balcony should be, a makeshift bathroom inside the room with a broken blinds and a locked grill. We asked for a room change, but even the next day it hadn’t been switched. After a confrontation we left the following day because we were late and didn’t know where to go. These rooms should never be offered. When we pointed out the discrepancy, the staff said Booking had assigned the rooms and they couldn’t give every guest the photographed room. We had to find another place, and our vacation was ruined.

“Da non ripetere”

Cleaning was sub‑par, the walls were dirty, and the shower screen brackets were in terrible shape—I even had to reattach one myself; the toilet tank required the lid to be lifted and the water to be flushed manually, the décor was disappointing, and it took two days just to replace the TV remote batteries, which was a shame since I was checking out the next day.
